The first lecture “Void and Birth from Darkness” starts in the part of the sky which is known as “Great Void” lying in the constellation of Bootes in the North Galactic sky. It spans an area with an angular diameter of more than 25 degree (the size of the moon is half a degree in comparison). Instead of tens of thousands of galaxies. which should populate such space, there are only 60 dwarf galaxies observed so far.  The “Great Void” is the cradle of galaxy formation where the dwarf structures appear from a dark realm. It is a laboratory to watch how filamentary gases interact and shoot out jets from the dark, which then create the seeds of galaxies. The seeds take the form of  wheels which are confined inside several layers of cocoons of gases enveloping them. This tiny wheel at the centre weaves the gaseous filaments by following a particular mode of ejections from and accretion toward the centre. Thus the centre evolves and becomes bigger while creating a similar larger wheel around it. Thus the wheel inside wheel inside wheel (fractal wheel) takes over the process of creation. In this process of growth the dwarf structures create many smaller structures which populate the void like fireflies flying  around small lamps. In the outskirts of this void dark galaxies and clusters of puffy dark balls of the sizes of galaxies are observed. They show branched filamentary growth where branches entangle with each other in a complex way.

There exists a dark triple spiral structure whose arms occupy the entire void and spreads its tentacles outwards in the

greater universe. With the formation of dwarf galaxies in the void and their growth the structures move southward away from the void centre. The  galaxies (still in their childhood) gather around the region of the void in small clusters. Many smaller and looser clusters can be seen right outside the void boundary.
